Jim Chambers

Jim is head of the Chester office of Chambers O’Neill. After a spell as an Oxford academic and seven years running his own business, Jim retrained as a lawyer in the early 1990s and has concentrated on employment law since 1995.  He advises a very wide range of clients and has particular expertise in manufacturing, healthcare, freight and logistics, professional services, retailing and higher education. A highly experienced and tenacious advocate, Jim regularly appears in the Employment Tribunals throughout the UK.

Andrew O’Neill

Andrew is head of the Manchester office of Chambers O’Neill. Whilst he has a broad range of clients, his specialism includes employers in the construction, IT, financial services and retail sectors including some household names from the North West. He also acts for one of the top ten national charities in the UK. In view of his expertise Andrew has also been instructed by individuals in connection with tribunal claims, disciplinary procedures and compromise agreements and has acted for many senior high profile figures in the North West and nationally in respect of termination strategies and compromise agreements. Andrew is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Law Society and is recommended by the Legal 500, an independent guide to legal experts.
